Hummus, glorious hummus! I’m the guy who eats it to the bottom of the bowl. Every party that I host with a vegetable or snack tray is probably going to have this as a choice of dip.
I thought this would be a healthy and fun option for your Memorial Day weekend! 😎
It’s the typical American dinner: A burger and french fries. I’m sure you had this meal at least once. But have you ever had a black bean burger and carrot fries?
Sometimes we want to grow our own food, but we might not have the ability to have the gigantic garden we want. Well today I want to show you just five of the many ways you can start growing your own food.
We’re always so cautious when it comes to what we feed our bodies, but are you that cautious about what you put on it? Nine out of ten of us won’t think twice about the toiletries that we have in our cabinets. The deodorant, shampoo, and makeup that we use each day seems like safe hygiene, when really we’re being fooled! Here are five toxic ingredients that you need to be looking out for in your care products:
Everyone who loves pizza say “I”. I’m sure you just did. Come on, who could ever argue with pizza? All of that cheesy, saucy, topping-loaded goodness is just perfection!
But we really need to keep our eyes peeled for any of the bad stuff that is lurking in store-bought pizza. Since not all pizza is created equal, some out there are practically nightmares when trying to eat clean.
However, we can still have the pleasure it gives us without all those additives. All you have to do is cook it yourself, and it’s not complicated at all! And believe it or not, your family will have a great time making and building them together.
A great way to make homemade pizza is with naan. If you’re wondering what naan is, it’s practically a flat bread. They’re great by themselves, but I found out that they make an amazing pizza crust.
So without further ado, here’s my recipe for these incredible naan pizzas.
- 1 Naan flatbread
- 1/2 c pizza sauce
- 1/4 c grated mozzarella cheese
- toppings and seasoning of choice
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place naan on a baking pan lined with parchment paper.
- Top with sauce, cheese and toppings on naan.
- Place on middle rack of oven and bake for 10-15 minutes or until your naan is golden brown.
- Cut into slices and serve immediately
My favorite part of making these pizzas is the time I spend making it with my family. And knowing that all of these healthy and awesome ingredients are doing my body good. Try this simple recipe and tell me how you and your family liked it!
